JACKIE LEE, PHD
Managing Director / Chief Science Officer (CSO)
Jackie is a molecular and cellular neuroscientist with over 25 years of research experience, in metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases, 15 of which was in the Biotechnology sector. Jackie received her PhD in Genetics and Development from Columbia University (NY, USA).
Jackie was a director of the Diabetes Regenerative program at Geron, Menlo Park (CA, USA) and recently the head of R&D at Living Cell Technologies (AKL, NZ) managing Diabetes and Parkinson’s disease programs. Jackie also succeeded to obtain proof-of-concepts in two highly challenging cell-therapy programs for clinical trials.
JOSÉ M. ANGEL, MD
Medical Director
José received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia Medical School (New York, USA) and has been a Board-certified anaesthesiologist in the US since 1991. He received his residency training in anesthesiology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (NY, USA) followed by Pain Fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco and Virginia Mason Clinic (Seattle, WA).
He was one of the first pain specialists in the US to receive a Certificate of Added Qualification in Pain Management (1993-2003). José was a faculty member and Director at the Pain Clinic at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Centre (CO, USA). He is currently a full partner at Boulder Valley Anaesthesiologists Group (CO, USA).
